One-Liner week 3rd April 2011

The civil war in Libya steps up a gear; the coalition forces continue the bombing campaign of Tripoli and Gadaffi troops. The rebels still hold Banghazi. Ex-Libyan Foreign Minister Moussa Koussa flees to the UK, and defects from supporting the regime. Many people in the west will be interested in talking to him.

Radiation continues to leak out of the Fukushima reactor, polluting the sea in the immediate vicinity. The radiation levels will be diluted quite quickly. The Japanese authorities attempts to block the crack in the reactor seem to be failing.

Sian O Callaghan is found murdered as she returns from the local nightclub. A man is charged.

The inquest into the death of Ian Tomlinson at the G20 protests 2 years ago, finally gets underway – new footage is shown.
